HAZECO takes over power distribution in Hazara region
New era begins for power supply in Abbottabad, Mansehra & nearby districts
In a recent update, Hazara Electric Supply Company (HAZECO) has been taking part with Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO), and HAZECO will operate from 1st July.
Hazara Electric Supply Company and related organizations have officially signed the Business Transfer Agreement (BTA), and it will take effect from July 1, 2025.
According to this agreement, all practical, financial, and administrative controls are transferred to HAZECO. All HAZECO officers and employees are congratulated on this historical occasion. Chief Financial Officer, Amir Zaki, in his special message, has paid tribute to the leadership skills, tireless work, and determination of the CEO and said, “This is not just a milestone but the start of a new era. We are all determined to make HAZECO an exemplary power distribution company of Pakistan. These developments are not only a promise of services for Haveliyan, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Battagram, and other districts’ residents but also a positive step towards reforming the energy sector at the country level.
