Assistant commissioner, tehsildar, four martyred in Bajaur blast

The blast occurred on Naogai Road in the Siddiqabad Phatak area of Tehsil Khar.

A bomb blast in Bajaur has claimed the lives of four individuals, including Assistant Commissioner Naogai Faisal Ismail and Tehsildar Naogai Abdul Wakil. The explosion targeted a government vehicle, resulting in significant destruction. Eleven others were injured in the incident and have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to police reports, the blast occurred on Naogai Road in the Siddiqabad Phatak area of Tehsil Khar. The force of the explosion was so powerful that it destroyed the targeted vehicle. In response to the attack, security measures in the area have been heightened, and relief activities are currently underway.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Dr. Saif has strongly condemned the recent blast in Bajaur. He described the incident as extremely tragic and emphasised that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not be in vain. Dr. Saif asserted that we will not allow those who are hostile to the country to succeed in their nefarious plans.

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has ordered an investigation into the incident and directed that medical facilities be provided to those injured.
