The price of 24 karat gold is Rs. 352,000 per tola, and 22 karat gold is Rs. 301,790 per 10 gram

Gold price in Pakistan have fallen further according to global market trends and the biggest reason behind this is to shift the focus of investors from safe havens after Iran-Israel ceasefire.

The price of 24 karat gold is Rs. 352,000 and the price of 10 gram gold price is Rs. 301,790. Per tola price of 22 karat gold is Rs. 322,644 and the price of 10 gram gold is recorded as Rs. 279,639.

In Pakistan, gold has cultural, social and investment importance. Women prefer gold also it is used in marriages, festivals and for savings. The fluctuation in gold price affect the demand of jewelry and retail market.

Economically, pakistani invest in gold to hedge aginst inflation and the reduced value of rupee. Gold is considered a safe haven during financial instability. International market effect the prices of local market which also effect the import costs and trade balance.

However, silver prices remained constant and it is recorded as Rs. 3,782 per tola.

According to market experts, fluctuation in gold price is because of instable price of gold on international level and weakness of pakistani rupee against US dollar.

24 karat gold: Rs. 352,000 per tola, and Rs. 301,790 per 10 gram

22 karat gold: Rs. 322,644 per tola, and Rs. 276,639 per 10 gram
