In a tragic incident, two sisters were brutally murdered in Nowshera Virkan area of Gujrawala and their own parents are allegedly accused of the murder.
According to details, the muder of two sisters was reported on 19th May and their partents were alleged perpetrators. Crime Control Department (CCD) has arrested the mother and father of these sisters. Police investigation revealed that elder daughter, Sania, married a man of her choice without her parents’ consent, and the younger sister, Anila, supported her in this decision and their parents killed them in the name of honor.
SSP Mansoor Aman said that the suspicision arose from the start of the investigation, pointing at their parents. Later the investigation also lead to them and when we got sure about it, then we arrested them and they accepted their crime. During investigation, parents disclosed the chilling details of the murder in which heir mother planned the murder and father carried out the execution by shooting both daughters. Mother saw the murder of her daughters in front of her eyes and then hide the murder weapon too. After the murders, the parents tried to disguise the incident as a robbery.
The CCD has obtained physical remand for the father, Zulfiqar, while the mother, Kishwar Bibi, has been sent to jail on judicial remand. Authorities are conducting further investigations to ensure justice is served.
