Police investigate double homicide after Shahin and Kinza found dead; ex-husband under scrutiny

In a shocking incident, the bodies of a Christian mother and daughter were discovered in their home within the premises of Peshawar University’s Lala Zar Christian Colony. The victims have been identified as Shahin and her daughter Kinza, who were reportedly killed several days before their bodies were found.

According to police sources, Shahin had been abandoned by her husband, Wasim, months prior, while Kinza was Wasim’s daughter from his second wife. The nature of the crime is being described as severe and suspicious, prompting an immediate investigation.

Authorities have taken custody of the bodies and sent them for post-mortem examinations. A case of double murder has been registered, and forensic teams are analyzing mobile data and other evidence to uncover the truth behind the killings.
