RPO Bannu holds key security talks with tribal elders

Discusses law and order with Kam Chashmi, N. Waziristan elders; vows fair investigations, public cooperation

Regional Police Officer Bannu Sajjad Khan holds key meeting with elders of Kam Chashmi and North Waziristan on law and order.

According to details, Regional Police Officer (RPO) Bannu, Sajjad Khan, along with District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu, Saleem Kalachi, held separate meetings with elders from Kam Chashmi (Tehsil Domel) and North Waziristan at the DIG Office to discuss matters related to law and order.

During the meetings, a detailed discussion was held on the current security situation, ongoing challenges, and the importance of local elders’ cooperation in addressing them. The elders expressed satisfaction over the recent police operations in Kam Chashmi and Bargento, stating their full support for police efforts in maintaining peace and stability in the region.

On the occasion, DIG Sajjad Khan assured the participants that the police are taking all necessary steps to ensure public safety and establish lasting peace in the region. He further stated that those arrested during the operations will be investigated on merit, and no injustice will be done to anyone.

Appreciating the role of local elders, he emphasized that strong ties between the police and the public are key to sustainable peace. During the meeting, the participants also shared their concerns, suggestions, and observations.

The session concluded in a positive and cordial atmosphere with a collective prayer, and all parties reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation for peace and stability in the region.
