Oppo has unveiled its latest budget 5G smartphone, the Oppo K13, in India, bringing significant upgrades in battery life and display while making slight compromises in processing power. The device succeeds the K12 but switches from a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 to a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of non-expandable storage.
One of the standout features of the Oppo K13 is its massive 7,000mAh battery, a substantial upgrade from the K12’s 5,500mAh unit, supporting 80W fast charging that can refuel the phone up to 62% in just 30 minutes. The device runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15 and comes with a promise of two major Android updates (Android 16 & 17) and three years of security patches.
The smartphone sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,200 nits peak brightness, ensuring smooth visuals and good outdoor visibility. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, while a 16MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. Additional features include dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and IP65 dust/water resistance.
Available in Icy Purple and Prism Black, the Oppo K13 is priced at ₹17,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and ₹19,999 for the 8GB+256GB model. It will go on sale starting April 25 via Oppo’s official online store and Flipkart. Launch offers include an instant ₹1,000 discount for SBI, HDFC, and ICICI Bank cardholders, along with no-cost EMI options for up to 6 months.
