The Karakoram Highway (KKH) has been completely closed for all types of traffic due to the collapse of a mountain near Shaal Bypass, Dassu. The affected mountain had previously developed cracks, leading to this incident.
The public is strongly advised to avoid travel on this route. The district administration and relevant authorities are actively engaged in restoration efforts. Updates will be provided as soon as the highway is reopened for traffic.
