Saqib Khan, President of the All Traders Federation Ali Asghar Khan Group, Abbottabad has emphasized the urgent need to restore the traffic signal system in the city to resolve traffic issues. He stated that the traffic police, TMA, C&W, and all relevant departments should collaborate to establish a functional traffic signal system.
He expressed these views while congratulating the newly elected cabinet of the Abbottabad Press Club and the Union of Journalists. The event was attended by trader leaders Khalid Aslam Awaan, Haji Abdul Hameed Khan, Haji Ghulam Haider alias Kala Khan, Sardar Sher Dil, Muhammad Zafar, Malik Irshad, Sheikh Farqan Khalid, Malik Irshad, Fakhr Alam Kayani, and others.
Saqib Khan Jadun highlighted the need for concrete measures to address the city’s severe traffic problems. He pointed out that while there are stops on various routes, vehicles parked haphazardly across the city disrupt the traffic flow. He urged traders and media to work together to protect the rights of citizens.
Sardar Naveed Alam, President of the Abbottabad Press Club, remarked that traders are important stakeholders in society. He emphasized that sincere collective efforts can lead to exemplary measures for the betterment of the city.
The event also featured a photo session with Saqib Khan Jadun, Khalid Aslam Awaan, Haji Abdul Hameed Khan, Sheikh Farqan Khalid, Muhammad Zafar, Sardar Sher Dil, Haji Shehzad Gul, Malik Irshad, Fakhr Alam Kayani, and other members of the Press Club and the newly elected cabinet.
