Newly appointed District Police Officer Shah Hasan Khan takes charge in Shangla

Newly appointed District Police Officer (DPO), Shah Hasan Khan, has officially assumed his responsibilities as the head of the district police force in Shangla. On Tuesday, DPO Shah Hasan took charge of his new role and held a meeting with all police officers to discuss plans and priorities for the district.

Upon his arrival at the DPO office, a smartly turned-out police contingent presented a guard of honor to the newly appointed district police chief. Shah Hasan Khan also paid tribute to the martyrs by laying flowers at the memorial and offering prayers.

Before his appointment as DPO Shangla, Shah Hasan Khan served in various key positions, including Deputy Commandant of the Elite Force Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, SP Operations in Swat, SP Investigation in Swat, and DPO in Buner. His extensive experience in law enforcement is expected to bring a positive impact to the district.

During the briefing provided by the district police staff, DPO Shah Hasan emphasized the importance of public service, maintaining close ties with the community, and fostering a culture of teamwork and professionalism among the police force. He urged officers to treat citizens with respect and kindness while ensuring efficient service delivery.

In his initial address, DPO Shah Hasan appealed to the respected citizens of Shangla to approach their nearest police station or the DPO office in case of any issues. He assured the public that the Shangla Police would leave no stone unturned in serving the community and addressing their concerns.

The appointment of Shah Hasan Khan as DPO Shangla has been welcomed by local residents, who are hopeful for improved law enforcement and community relations under his leadership.
