13,000 saplings to be planted in Bisham tehsil, Says AC Bisham

SHANGLA: The Bisham assistant commissioner, Khuram Rehman Jadoon has said that over 13,000 saplings of the different species would be planted across the Bisham tehsil during the special drive Ashar plantation commenced on Monday. Tehsil administration officials, Local youth, volunteers, social activists and forest guards are taking part in the three day special drive.
The assistant commissioner, Khuram Rehman Jadoon was speaking media persons after launching of Ashar plantation at Maira area of Bisham. The forest department officials were also present on the occasion.
He said over 13,000 saplings to be planted across the tehsil Bisham during the drive which would continue for next three days.
He added that 5,000 would be planted at Serai Maira, besides it, block plantation on 4 hectares land in Dara Dandai and 4 hectare block plantation at Molsar, Bisham.
He said the local people, volunteers and social activists were actively taking part in the plantation in order to keep their respective areas clean, green and polluted free.
