KP capable to combat economic crises, says CM inaugurating Shangla university

The Khyber Pakhtunkwha chief minister Mahmood Khan has said that Shangla University is a gift from the provincial government for the coalminer’s children where they would get free of cost education, Kp has the ability to tackle with financial crises for which they devised policy despite the center injustice of not providing its funds.
The KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan was addressing inaugural ceremony of Shangla University here on Wednesday. Minister for labour and culture Shaukat Yousafzai, tehsil Alpuri’s chairman Waqar Ahmad Khan, Nawaz Mahmood Khan were also present on the occasion.
The KP chief executive was brief about the Shangla University which had been merged from a campus of the Swat University to full fledge university by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
Chief minister said it was historical day for Shangla as university had started its classes and now formally inaugurated as it was utmost and essential work over all the previous done projects initiated by the government.
“This university would play its due role to educate the young generation hence this poor district would go ahead in progress. Especially those who work in coalmines would enroll their children and after their education their parents would no further work as colliers,” The chief minister said.
The KP chief executive said he was focusing on least developed districts Malakand, Hazara and former FATA regions to uplift them as much as possible according to the Imran Khan vision to equally development them.
He said the backward district Shangla issues would be addressed slowly and gradually as he did in the past and providing huge funds, constructing schools, roads and now more funds he was going to allocate for schools demolished after 2005 earthquake.
“I am going to initiate inquiries through anti-corruption against contractors those are not completing their projects and the no one would be spared if 93 percent work is not completed and legal action would be taken against them,” CM said and added Chakesar and Karora-Ajmeer road would be build he had given them in the Asian development bank projects.
Mr Mahmood Khan said in order to create jobs opportunities and make Shangla a tourism hub for which he was allocating huge amounts and constructing roads to scenic places of the district under an objective of promoting tourism.
“Once jobs opportunities are created for locals by expanding tourism no one would go to Balochistan for coalmining. Besides this year in colleges students would be given free education and fee be returned those already paid,” He further added.
Chief Minister said that he was in contact with the Balochistan government regarding abducted miners four of them from Shangla last week by miscreants from Mach area and Shaukat Yousafzai also to force the Balochistan government to recover the abducted miners safely.
Mahmood Khan urged the Shangla residents particularly youth to must participate in Azadi March in Rawalpindi called by Imran Khan on November, 26 on Saturday to get real freedom and listen the Imran Khan Speech for the better and genion objective for which this country was came into existence.
While talking to media persons, chief minister said there was not such issue of bankruptcy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and they had different plans for survival and everyone was doing their jobs according to their budgets.
“Federal is defaulter of our Rs 65 billion of net hydroelectric profit (NHP), FATA funds, the national finance commission award pending for months and we have taken up this issue with the federal government,” CM said and added if the pending amount was not released they would stage sit-in outside the national assembly, however for now the economical situation in the Kp was better.
