District health officer Dr Mohammad Riaz Khan said seven more positive cases were reported from different areas of Bisham on Friday, two each from Kunshi and Bar Batkoot and three from Maira.

He said two patients from Dasu area of Upper Kohistan and one from Dubair, Lower Kohistan, were also brought to tehsil headquarters hospital, Bisham, who were under treatment in the dengue isolation ward.

He said preventive measures were being taken to control the spread of dengue, adding mosquito nets and equipment to carry out dengue tests would be brought from Peshawar, besides carrying out fumigation.
